Tennis star Shahar Pe'er reached the third round of the WTA French Open on Thursday, after defeating Bulgarian Tsvetana Pironkova 6-2 and 6-3. After winning the title at the Istanbul Open last week, the 19-year-old player rose to the ranking of 26th in the world.
