Soccer: Attack on Haifa training ground raises tensions ahead of Betar clash
Haifa police launches an investigation following the discovery of graffiti and remnants of petrol bombs at Maccabi's training ground on Sunday.

Tensions between Maccabi Haifa and Betar Jerusalem fans will be running especially high at Kiryat Eliezer Stadium on Monday night after Haifa police launched an investigation following the discovery of graffiti and remnants of petrol bombs at Maccabi's training ground on Sunday.
A lawn mowing tractor was burned by the bombs and the graffiti read, among other things, "Haifa are whores" and "Betar to the death."
Haifa can open a 14-point gap over Betar with a victory on Monday, but Jerusalem defender Shimon Gershon said he believes the championship will not be decided at Kiryat Eliezer.
"It's too early to say that is we lose this match we will be out of the championship race. I always believe you can correct your mistakes," Gershon said.
"I think we're in a positive mood ahead of this match after winning at home for the first time last week. We've been doing better lately."
