Shimi Goldstein led a remarkable comeback as My Office Jerusalem defeated D.C. 4-1 in Week 2 of the Moshiko Soccer League. D.C. looked more dangerous from the start and its efforts were rewarded with a powerful Daniel Cohen strike. They continued to pressure but were denied by a fine string of saves from Sam Daman. The game looked set until the last few minutes, when Goldstein inspired an incredible turnaround which saw Shushi Bernhotz rifle home an equalizer. My Office, growing in confidence, took the lead through a clever Jossi Lubin finish and Avi Miller and Bernhotz completed the rout, giving My Office its first three points. In other action, Ben Maimon earned a valuable point against the mighty U.K.I. in an entertaining 2-2 draw. Early pressure from Ben Maimon saw them rewarded with a U.K.I. own-goal, only for David Kimchi to draw level smashing into the roof of the net. Alistair Lachman led the Ben Mainmon defense while Eli Sinitsky played superbly in goal and they took the lead through another U.K.I. own goal but a late Ilan Shapiro strike saw them share the spoils. Also, Jeff's Boys claimed its first win of the season, seeing off Netiv 4-2. Ishay Shukun neatly finished twice while the impressive Chaim Kornbluth scored a pair of unstoppable penalty kicks. A cheeky Lee Reisman strike and a superb Matt Sinclair solo effort kept up Carrol's Security perfect record as they defeated Spanish Armada 2-1. Teofilo Hanono's goal was too little, too late as the Spaniards search for their first win. Other results from the weekend; Moshiko 4, Club Med 2; The Bugs 1, Phishpo 1; Cafe Rimon 4, Smoke Shop 2; Giblets 2, Chabadniks 1.
