US President Donald Trump said he has canceled all executive orders or documents signed by his predecessor, Joe Biden, with an autopen, in an announcement on Truth Social on Friday.

Trump claimed that Biden signed 92% of his executive orders with an autopen, which is "a device that mechanically reproduces a person's signature," according to Merriam-Webster.

"The Autopen is not allowed to be used if approval is not specifically given by the President of the United States," Trump wrote.

He then added that the previous president "was not involved in the Autopen process," and that those who operated the Autopen did so illegally.

The current president also threatened to charge Biden with perjury if Biden says he was involved with the issue.

Trump added that US officials who circled the previous president during his time in the Oval Office "took the Presidency away from him" while using an autopen.

Previous accusations of Biden's usage of autopen

Trump initially said in March that presidential pardons issued by Biden are "void, vacant, and of no further force or effect," referencing the autopen and claiming that it was used to sign these pardons. Biden pardoned members of the US House Select Committee investigating the January 6 riots at the US Capitol during his administration.

The US leader accused Biden of not even knowing about the pardons.

In September, Trump introduced a “Presidential Walk of Fame” in the White House's West Wing, where all the portraits of US presidents were hung in chronological order, with the notable exception of Biden's portrait, which was replaced by a photo of an autopen signature.
