Trump to host Hanukka party on December 7

The tradition began with president George W. Bush in 2001 and has continued each year since.

WASHINGTON – US President Donald Trump will continue an American tradition and host a Hanukka reception at the White House next month.
The party, scheduled for December 7, will be smaller than it has been in recent years, with more then 200 people expected to attend.
The tradition began with president George W. Bush in 2001 and has continued each year since. The US president typically hosts members of the Jewish and Israeli communities from around the country, lights a specially selected hanukkia, and serves classic holiday dishes.
While parties hosted by president Barack Obama started small, they ultimately ballooned in size, and he ultimately hosted back-to-back parties with 200 people invited to each party.
