The Sam Spiegel Film & Television School will award singer Rami Fortis with an honorary fellowship at the Cinematheque in Jerusalem.

The Sam Spiegel Film & Television School will hold its finals program on December 29 at the Cinematheque in Jerusalem. There, the school will award singer Rami Fortis with an honorary fellowship.
The school decided to honor Fortis for his "musical energy and stage presence that changed the face of Israeli rock," as well as for his breaking of boundaries and the inspiration he instilled in many musicians and artists.
Previous recipients of the title include director Nissim Aloni, author Amos Kenan, poet Yehuda Amichai and Jerusalem Cinematheque founder Lia van Leer.
