Holon hosts films on women writers

Sara Shilo, whose book 'No Dwarves are Coming' won the Sapir Prize in 2007, is a mother of five and lives in Kfar Veradim.

The Holon Cinematheque will be showing a premiere screening of the film A Room of Your Own: Women Writers – Sara Shilo, on June 1 at 8:30 p.m. It will also be shown on television on Channel 8 on June 3 at 9:30 p.m.
The film, which was directed by Ruth Velek and produced by Yael Perlov,is part of a series on women writers and is being presented inconjunction with Hebrew Book Week.
Shilo, whose book No Dwarves are Coming won theSapir Prize in 2007, is a mother of five and lives in Kfar Veradim. Shewill attend the screening and will discuss her work with the audienceand Prof. Gavriel Tzoren of Haifa University.
