Yael Ronen's Plonter (Tangle) has taken its Israeli/Palestinian cast to London's Barbican Center to take part in its Bite09 series, which runs until February 7.
Plonter is a realistic, no-punches-pulled, wryly humorous take on the Israeli Palestinian conflict as seen by those on both sides of the barriers and roadblocks. Since its acclaimed debut at the Cameri theater in 2005, the play has been seen at festivals worldwide.
An annual event, the ever-innovative Bite aims "to enable the realization of dreams, encourage ambitious plans and promote the exploration of new ideas," among both new and established artists.
