Poets choose the next generation

Tzomet Sfarim, in Tel Aviv's Dizengoff Center, will hold a special tribute to Israeli poetry. Among the participants will be Agi Mishol, Anat Zakaria,and Nurit Zarchi.

On Thursday night at 7:30 p.m., Tzomet Sfarim, in Tel Aviv's Dizengoff Center, will hold a special tribute to Israeli poetry. Among the participants will be Agi Mishol, Anat Zakaria, Nurit Zarchi, Gadiel Dahan, Ilan Sheinfeld, Vered Levinstein, Hanna Goldberg, Almog Bahar, Thelma Alyagon Rose, and Nadav Lineal. Veteran poets will each read the work a young poet s/he has chosen and explain why s/he was selected. The event, which is open to the public, is part of Poetry Month, which takes place during the entire month of November. During that time, Tzomet Sfarim is offering a 25% discount on a wide range of Israeli poetry books and CDs.
