Mukmel, Berold to play as Israel’s ‘International Pair’

Jacky Mukmel and George Berold will represent Israel after winning Stableford tournament.

Jacky Mukmel and George Berold of the Ga’ash Golf Club will represent Israel in the finals of the “International Pairs” competition in Scotland later this year, after winning a Stableford tournament on Thursday.
The event held at the Ga’ash Golf Club began with a shotgun start when all 25 pairs teed off on different holes simultaneously to ensure they would all be playing under similar conditions.
The format of the tournament was a “betterball Stableford” 75% handicap.
Mukmel and Berold had 42 Stableford points followed by Cyril Kaufman and Uri Bogoslovsky as well as Idan Hayut and Gidi Golan with 41 Stableford points.
The “Nearest to the Pin” prize, sponsored by the Greenfield restaurant went to Idan Hayut.
Following the tournament, there was a prize-awarding ceremony and cocktail party, held at the Greenfield restaurant.
EuroAsia, importers of Rolex watches, were the sponsors of this prestigious tournament.
Chairman Danny Peizer and CEO Yossi Zeitzler presented the prizes to the lucky winners.
