Silver Linings Playbook is a romantic comedy-drama adapted from a novel by Matthew Quick about Pat Solitano, a former teacher who, after a stint in a mental institution, moves back in with his parents and tries to reconcile with his exwife.

6. FEEL THE HEAT
Dafy Altabeb created the dance piece Heat Sensitive for the Naples Opera House director who visited Israel in 2011 and was excited by her previous work. The hour long Heat Sensitive, created together with Moshe Nini, is based on Italian operas and was first staged at a Naples dance festival.

Giuseppe Verdi’s opera Luisa Miller (1849) is making its local debut on the Israeli Opera stage, the first of three Verdi productions to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the composer’s birth.
