Quentin Tarantino: Israeli thriller Big Bad Wolves is the best film of the year

American film director Quentin Tarantino, who attended a screening of Israeli thriller Big Bad Wolves at the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea, dubbed it “the best film of the year.”Tarantino, known for directing cult classics Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill among many others, took the microphone at Q&A time following the screening to ask writer and director Navot Papushado questions on the movie, according to Twitch magazine.After stating he loved the film, Tarantino concluded by saying that “this is not only the best film of Busan, it is the best film of the year.”In the 2013 thriller, a series of brutal murders puts the lives of three men on a collision course: The father of the latest victim, now out for revenge, a vigilante police detective operating outside the law, and the main suspect in the killings – a religious studies teacher arrested and released due to a police blunder.According to Twitch magazine, Navot Papushado, who co-wrote and co-directed the film with Aharon Keshales, was elated at Tarantino’s praise.
