The 24th annual Red Sea Jazz Festival is presenting over 20 class acts this year from August 23-26 in Eilat. Among the highlights will be veteran singer/songwriter Rickie Lee Jones, best known for her hit “Chuck E’s in Love.” Vibraphonist Stefon Harris and Blackout play modern jazz mixed with beats, melodies and soundscapes associated with R&B, pop, hip-hop and a lot of funk. Teen virtuoso Nikki Yanofsky who made a splash at the Montreaux Jazz Festival four years ago at age 12, offers a unique vocal mix between the musical tradition of the great jazz singers and the world of light music and Broadway musicals.
