The second annual Maestro Festival in Ein Hod is taking shape; it will be held over Shavuot, from May 27 through 30. The three-day affair will include concerts, music and art workshops, outdoor performances and tours of the area's museums and galleries.
The opening event is a performance of Pergolesi's Stabat Mater by Maria Kabelski (soprano) and Bracha Kol (mezzo-soprano), accompanied by the Elysium Ensemble, conducted by Gil Shohat. There will also be a jazz performance of the American Songbook that night. Other events include a Brahms program, a Bach-Chopin program, a "from bossa nova to Israeli song" program and a gala closing event.

It is being hosted by the Hof Hacarmel regional council. Tickets are available through Garber, Hasharon and Leaan.
