Israeli musicologist and Jerusalem Post music critic Dr. Ury Eppstein has been invited by Vienna University to teach courses on Japanese and East Asian music as guest professor during the summer term. He taught the same subjects at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, but the courses were discontinued there due to lack of interest in such esoteric subjects.
