Beta Pizza, the heavily marketed pizza that delivers on taste, is celebrating both its second year and its soon-to-open second branch. Next Friday (May 26), NIS 25 will buy patrons all-you-can-eat pizza (along with unlimited non-alcoholic beverages) at the "mesibeta," as the event is being billed. Between the hours of 2 and 7 p.m. the original Beta Pizza will serve up endless amounts of its spectacular thin crust pizza to a soundtrack that has been specially chosen by the pizza joint's employees. To add to the festive motif, a selection of beers and the house red and white wines will be served at a discounted NIS 10 per glass.
Plans are in the works to open the second branch at the newly renovated Tel Aviv Port. At its current location, the pizza is made from top quality ingredients: dough made fresh each day, tomato sauce made from fresh Italian date tomatoes and pure mozzarella cheese domestically produced at the Gad dairy.
Quality goes a long way, but in business it is all about location. Situated at 21 Lilienblum Street on the corner of Herzl Boulevard, Beta Pizza stands at the crossroads of the daytime business world and foot traffic of nightlife in Tel Aviv's southern quarters. Offering up business lunch specials from noon to 4 p.m., the pizzeria shifts to a trendy nighttime hot spot for those looking to grab some grub to eat away those party-induced munchies with a slice of just about anything from plain and the industry standard pepperoni to the gourmet rosemary and sweet potato or goose breast with arugala leaves. Beyond the selection of pizza, an array of calzones, lasagnas and salads are available between noon and midnight Sunday through Wednesday, with an extra hour tacked on at the end of Thursday nights to accommodate the late night weekend crowd of 6:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Fridays and 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturdays.
