He studied International Relations, Political Economy and Political Science in Baku, Kassel and Göttingen. His research has been supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Since 2018, he has been a Research Fellow at the Centre for Strategic Studies and Lecturer in Politics at Khazar University in Baku.
