Donald Trump: Learn from Moses, and take advice from your Father-in-law.

Israel and The Christian Nation of the United States of America have reaffirmed their vows today.

“As a young man marries a young woman,

so will your Builder marry you;

as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride,

so will your God rejoice over you.”   Isaiah 62:5

We, the church, the Christian nation, believers in the Son of God, are the bride of Christ, who is the son of God ~ God is technically our Father-in-law.

President Trump, I urge you to follow Moses's lead and listen to your father-in-law.

“Listen now to me [Jethro] and I will give you [Moses] some advice, and may God be with you. You must be the people’s representative before God and bring their disputes to him. Teach them his decrees and instructions, and show them the way they are to live and how they are to behave. But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. Have them serve as judges for the people at all times, but have them bring every difficult case to you; the simple cases they can decide themselves. That will make your load lighter, because they will share it with you. If you do this and God so commands, you will be able to stand the strain, and all these people will go home satisfied” (Exodus 18:19-23).

“Moses listened to his father-in-law and did everything he said” (Exodus 18:24) and the people were united and happy and eventually reached the promised land. America has never been more divided since the time of the civil war, than during this former presidency. Donald Trump is attempting to bring the American people back to the promised land. Those who have not forgotten the promise.

The Battle Hymn of the Republic, published in February 1862 was sung by the Union soldiers linking the judgment of the wicked at the end of the age to the American civil war.  It is said that President Abraham Lincoln was so moved by the song, he wept when he heard it. The verse that stands out to me today is this:

"He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;

He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment seat ..."

The sixth verse, which is less commonly sung, was not published at it’s original debut. However, on this inauguration day, I believe it is time to reveal the end of the hymn ...

 “He is coming like the glory

of the morning on the wave,

He is wisdom to the mighty

He is honor to the brave,

So the world shall be His footstool

and the soul of wrong His slave,

Our God is marching on.”

Are we hearing the final trump of God? Who throughout history has used ordinary people to do extraordinary things. He uses people to sift the hearts of men, in order to separate the righteous from the wicked. He who has an eye, let him see; and he who has ears, let him hear.

God Bless America and God Bless Israel, the Bride and the Bridegroom. May they live happily ever after.
