Friendship between Israel and Serbia

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has visited Israel, and had meetings with top Israel officials, including President of Israel Reuven Rivlin.
"We want to increase the exchange of goods between our two countries" - Prime Minister Vucic said in Jerusalem. "I expect that my visit will have significant positive results on both political and economic level between our two countries."
Prime Minister Vucic, who is leading reforms in Serbia, in both the economy and government, is considered a leader among Balkan countries. He is a politician who has great determination to make life in his country better for all of its citizens.
Serbia is a candidate for joining the European Union, and the government led by Vucic is considered to be "most reform-oriented". Vucic has the strongest election support from the voters - over 50% of voters gave support for his SNS Party, whose founded and led by Vucic. This level of support for one political party in Serbia has been unprecedented until now, and it is a strong signal that Vucic has all the support from the people of Serbia for the much-needed reforms in the economy, industry and government - both state and local.
Vucic stated that Serbia can learn a lot from Israel in terms of economy, investments, agriculture and real estate. "Meeting with Israel's top officials is great recognition for Serbia," he said.
Vucic also visited the Yad Vashem Memorial Complex in Jerusalem and met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Vucic also met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Lieberman and former president Shimon Peres.
