14-year-old e. J'lem boy injured in cement mixer fall

A 14-year-old boy was critically injured after he fell into a cement mixer in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Jebl Mukaber on Monday morning. Magen David Adom paramedic Yaria Butavia, who responded to the accident, said that it was not immediately clear how the youth fell into the cement mixer, or if he was working at the construction site.

Both of the youth's legs were crushed in the accident and he was also injured in the stomach. MDA paramedics evacuated him to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in critical condition.
