15,000 voted and registered for organ donor group

On Election Day, more than 15,000 Israelis signed requests for having an ADI-Israel Transplant Center card as a potential organ donor.

Some 750 representatives of the organization manned booths at voting stations around the country.

ADI said it was very pleased by the result of its campaign. The record for signatures was made in Kiryat Ono, where youth movement representatives signed on 500 people in just four hours. The one-day campaign raised the number of registrants from 720,000 to 735,000.
