2 e. J'lem residents arrested for attacking 57-year-old

Police arrested two Arab residents of east Jerusalem in their 20s for attacking a 57-year-old Jewish man in the Old City on Saturday afternoon.
Using the Mabat 2000 system, which employs hundreds of security cameras around the Old City in Jerusalem, police were able to identify the suspects even after they had changed clothes.
According to an initial police investigation, the suspects were looking for random Jews to attack, and chose the victim because he was alone. They beat the victim and then fled.
The victim was taken to the hospital with light injuries and released after treatment.
The two suspects are currently in police confinement.
