2 kidnapped Jordanian UN peacekeepers released in Darfur

Two kidnapped Jordanian officers from the joint UN-African Union peacekeeping force in Darfur, Sudan were released by their captors, Jordanian Information Minister Ali Ayed said on Tuesday, according to an AFP report.
"First Lieutenant Ahmad Qeisi and First Lieutenant Nabil Kilani have been released. They are currently at the Jordanian mission in Darfur and in good health," Ayed said in a statement.
The two officers had been held captive since Saturday, when they were seized by armed men in Nyala.
