2 motorcyclists hurt, 1 seriously, in collision on Route 3

Two people were injured, one seriously, in an accident involving a motorcycle and a car on Route 3 near the Shapira Center Junction between Kiryat Malachi and Ashkelon on Friday.

MDA paramedics evacuated a 45-year-old man in very serious condition by helicopter to Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. They also evacuated an approximately 40-year-old woman in moderate condition by ambulance to Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot. Both of the injured parties had been riding on the motorcycle.
