200 gather for unauthorized protest in central Tel Aviv

Some 200 activists participating in an unauthorized social justice protest gathered outside the government compound near the Kiryia military headquarters in central Tel Aviv on Saturday evening.
Police stated that the protesters would not be allowed to march from the area as they did not obtain a permit to carry out the protest.
The protesters knocked down a fence surrounding a construction site in the area, police added.
