Twenty one hurt in bus-truck collision in central Israel

21 people were lightly injured Monday in a collision between a bus and a truck on Route 4, near the Geha Interchange in central Israel.

Volunteer medics from Hatzalah Bnei Brak and Hatzalah Givat Shmuel were on the scene, treating the injured, which included women and children. The truck driver was lightly to moderately hurt.

A Hatzalah spokesperson said that following the accident the bus caught on fire but the medics succeeded in dousing the flames, with the help of civilian volunteers.
