21 people injured in blast on train in Taiwan

More than 20 passengers were injured in an explosion on a train at a Taipei railway station on Thursday evening, authorities said.
National Police Agency Director-General Chen Kuo-en, who inspected the explosion site at Taipei's Songshan station, said he saw an explosive device in the passenger carriage.
"What I saw was on one of the seats, an explosive device, an elongated firecracker. What I saw was about this long," he told reporters while gesturing the length of the device with his hands.
21 injured passengers were being treated at local hospitals, Chen said, adding that most were with light injuries and that investigations into the explosion were continuing.
