3 cops injured, 34 arrested in e. Jerusalem unrest

Three police and Border Police officers were injured in protests in east Jerusalem Friday ahead of Nakba Day. A police officer was evacuated for medical care while the two Border Police officers were treated on scene by paramedics.
Protests took place in east Jerusalem neighborhoods of Silwan, Issawiya, Ras a-Mud, Shuafat and at the Kalandia checkpoint. A group of Arab youths were blocking a road and throwing stones near Ramallah. IDF, Border Police and police forces were attempting to disperse the demonstrations.
Police reported that 34 people had been arrested for disturbing the peace and one for holding a Molotov cocktail. Israeli media reported that a 17-year-old in Silwan was seriously wounded by fire from security forces.
