A 50-year-old man who suffered from serious chronic illness and was infected a month ago with the H1N1 flu virus died on Wednesday at the Emek Medical Center in Afula. The Health Ministry said that while a link between the virus and his death could not be proven, he was listed as the 31st Israeli victim of the flu strain. So far, 3,030 Israelis have been diagnosed with the H1N1 flu virus. Of these, 67 have been treated in hospital intensive care units. Six of them are still in ICUs.
