Four out of seven positive Sofia COVID-19 tests were false positives

Seven people were diagnosed as positive for the novel coronavirus with the Sofia rapid test in Eilat, but only three were found to be actually positive by a PCR test as well, while the other four were found to be negative, according to KAN news.
Sofia Israel responded to the report, saying that this was "excellent data that meet the Health Ministry's definitions. From over 2,300 tests, it turns out that only three were infected."
