40 hikers still awaiting rescue in Shion river in Golan

Forty of sixty hikers are still awaiting rescue on Thursday overnight after they lost their way in Shion river, a hiking site in the Golan Heights near Mount Hermon, Army Radio reported.
The hikers lost their way at the hiking site on Thursday due to the fall of darkness.
Rescue units said the rescue might take a long time, as efforts were made to locate all of the hikers.
