A 50-year-old resident of Rehovot was allegedly stabbed to death by his son while sitting shiva for his mother who had passed away recently, police said.
Magen David Ambulance paramedics were called out to the city's Rehov Walkani shortly after noon, and found a critically injured stab victim.
Police have launched a large scale manhunt for the son, including road blocks and a police helicopter.
