500 Israelis diagnosed with coronavirus via technological methods

Israel's internal Shin Bet security service announced Thursday that hundreds of Israelis were instructed to self-isolate after being suspected and later diagnosed with coronavirus, according to a press release from the organization. The Shin Bet also noted that these patients were discovered using technological methods. 
The announcement comes amid criticism leveled at the Shin Bet over its mass surveillance of Israeli citizens to ensure compliance with the Health Ministry's guidelines.
