62-year-old man killed, two others severely injured in head-on crash near Ashdod

A 62-year-old man was killed and two other people were injured in a car accident involving two trucks and a car on Road 3711 near Azrikam, in the Ashdod area on Tuesday morning.

MDA paramedics pronounced the man dead on the scene and treated the two other severely wounded people. An approximately 25-year-old man was transported to Barzilai Medical Center in Ashdod and an approximately 22-year-old man was transported to Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot.

The accident was a head-on crash between the two trucks, one of which was towing a car.
