7 years after gov't order, websites lack Arabic language

Despite a government decision seven years ago to make Ministry websites available in Arabic, some 20 offices have still not complied, including important centers such as the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Welfare and Social Services, according to an Army Radio report on Monday.
MK Ahmed Tibi (UAL - Ta'al), speaking in an interview with Army Radio, said that Arabs make up "20 percent of the population," and that "government agencies are setting a bad example."
The Welfare Ministry responded to inquiries, saying their website was in the process of reorganization. The Health Ministry did not respond to a request for comment.
Minister of Minority Affairs Avishai Braverman announced he would enter the head offices on the fifth of September to determine whether progress had been made.
