87% of Histadrut ballots counted, Eini leads with 66%

The Histadrut labor federation's election committee said Thursday that after having counted 175,333 of the some 200,000 ballots cast in elections for the chairmanship of the union, incumbent Ofer Eini is leading his challenger, Labor MK Eitan Cabel, 66.5 percent to 33.4%.A win by Eini would make him Histadrut chairman for the next five years.Read full story here.Egypt disapproves of statements by Netanyahu in US media
