A-G Weinstein announces he won't appeal Liberman acquittal in fraud trial

Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein announced Wednesday that he will not appeal the November acquittal of Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman on charges of fraud and breach of public trust.
Weinstein said in a statement that he was acting on the recommendation of outgoing State Attorney Moshe Lador and incoming State Attorney Shai Nitzan not to appeal the decision.
He stated that the chances that the acquittal would be overturned should he appeal were low.
