Abbas attacks Al Jazeera after meeting Jordanian king

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas met with Jordanian King Abdullah in Amman on Sunday.
Among the topics discussed between the two leaders were the latest developments in the stalled peace process and the Quartet's meeting in Munich over the weekend, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
Addressing the ongoing unrest in Egypt and taking the opportunity to attack Al Jazeera, Abbas told reporters after the meeting: "Within these difficult circumstances, we need to preserve the ongoing communications and consultations with the King. This is the purpose of the visit, especially with what is happening in the area specifically in Egypt and the violent campaign launched by Al Jazeera Satellite Channel," according to the report.
