Abbas calls pro-Israel Bedouin community 'a bridge to peace'

Bedouin leaders from northern Israel met this week with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, with the president calling them a bridge to peace between Israel and the Palestinians, according to the Arabic news site Kol Alarav,
Head of the Northern Bedouin council Zidan Ka'abiya told Israel Radio that Abbas was aware that the group supports Zionist parties, and serves in the IDF and border police.
Joint list member Ayman Odeh was also present at the meeting.
