In a meeting with Zionist Union MK Zouheir Bahloul on Tuesday in Ramallah, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas stressed that he was committed to the two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Abbas said in the meeting that he regretted that the Israeli government was neglecting the return to the negotiating table and instead was choosing a diplomatic stalemate. Bahloul said his party was also committed to the two-state solution and that it would 'act with vigor to return sanity to the difficult diplomatic reality that we live in.'
