Abbas, Kerry meet in Amman over peace push

US Secretary of State John Kerry met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Amman on Tuesday night to continue discussions in his effort to resume peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians, Ma'an reported on Wednesday.
The two discussed the issues that could contribute to creating the "right climate" to return to negotiations, a PA spokesman told Ma'an.
Abbas is expected to update the Palestinian leadership on the meet on Thursday, Ma'an reported.
