Pope Francis late Monday lauded President Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas for having 'the courage to move forward' after accepting the pontiff's invitation for a joint prayer meeting at the Vatican, AFP reported. “The meeting in the Vatican is to pray together, it's not a mediation,” the pope said on his return flight from a three-day Middle East tour.
