Abbas: PA wants serious talks but will insist on Jerusalem, refugees

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday said that while his government is interested in serious negotiations with Israel, he will insist that the status of Jerusalem and the Palestinian refugees with be included in any agreement, the WAFA news agency reported. "We support serious negotiations; we know that they will be hard and complicated. We will need your support, yet, flexibility on our side never means concession of our national principles," Abbas was quoted as saying in a speech before the Non-Aligned Movement's 15th summit, held in Sharm e-Sheikh, Egypt. "There will be no solution without Jerusalem, refugees and all final status issues," he reportedly stressed.
