In an interview published Sunday night, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas urged Israel to engage in direct talks with the Palestinians and added that his people would not return to armed resistance.Continued Israeli control of the West Bank is inadvertently leading to a one-state solution, Abbas reportedly said.
