Abbas to UN General Assembly: Does Israel want one state?

At Thursday's UN General Assembly debate, Palestinian Authority President Abbas repeated his appeals to the UN to denounce Israel's "aggression towards the Palestinian people," asking if the Jewish state wants a one-state solution to the conflict with the Palestinians.
He noted that the Palestinians remain committed to the 1993 Oslo Accords. However, he placed the onus on Israel to fulfill commitments to finalize peace. He also said that Israel's "continued aggression against our Christian and and Muslim holy sites amount to playing with fire." He added, "No one knows what will happen if these aggression continue."
Abbas added that the Palestinians will support any efforts toward a UN security council resolution on Israeli settlements, pointing at the US by saying he hopes such a motion won't be met by any veto.
