ADL welcomes passing of Iran sanctions bill in US

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) welcomed Thursday a new Iran sanctions bill that passed by a majority in the US House of Representatives.
According to the ADL, the Iran Threat Reduction act, which passed by a vote of 410 to 11, increases pressure on Tehran to abandon its nuclear program.
"The passage of this legislation by an overwhelming bipartisan majority raises a resounding voice warning about the consequences for the US and its allies of allowing nuclear weapons in the hands of this brutal and repressive regime,” ADL director Abraham Foxman said.
