Air raid sirens to sound nationwide as part of school missile drill

The IDF home Front Command and Education Ministry will hold a nationwide missile drill for schools on Monday.
Air raid sirens will be heard at 10:05 AM in the morning as part of the exercise.
The Israel Police, Magen David Adom, Israel Fire and Rescue Service, and local authorities will simulate a missile attack on the Israeli home front from multiple arenas simultaneously, when schools are in session.
State and local radio stations will play an audio recording announcing the drill, while an announcement on TV stations and internet sites will provide details about the exercise.
Pupils have received instructions on how to respond.
Home Front Command search and rescue teams will practice their ability to rescue people in six schools across the country.
The IDF Spokesman Unit said the annual drill has been planned ahead of time for 2016.
