Air strike on Syria's eastern Ghouta kills 12, wounds more than 100

BEIRUT - The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Friday Russian air strikes on the Syrian rebel-held village of Kafr Batna in eastern Ghouta killed 12 civilians and wounded more than 100 others.
"The bodies are completely burnt by the Russian war plane air strikes," Rami Abdulrahman, the director of the UK-based war monitor, said.
