AJCongress vows to resume activity after forced hiatus

The American Jewish Congress issued an official press release Thursday responding to its unannounced decision last week to suspend most of its activities immediately because it had run out of funding.
In a letter posted on AJCongress' Website, President Richard Gordon vowed that the venerable 91-year-old organization which lost millions of dollars in the Madoff scheme will resume its operations sometime in the future.
