CAIRO - Al Jazeera television said onSaturday that the Libyan authorities had detained one of its
reporting teams several days ago when working in west Libya.The channel said, in a report on its website, that the teamincluded two correspondents, one Tunisian and anotherMauritanian, and two cameramen, one Norwegian and one British.
An Al Jazeera official said the Qatar-based channel held theLibyan authorities responsible for the team's safety and saidthere were regional efforts to secure the team's release.
